I am soo glad you asked this question. I feel EXACTLY the same way. i am 7weeks pregnant. the first 2 weeks that i knew i was pregnant i was extremely tired, falling asleep all the time. I had some breast tenderness that was worse at 5-6 weeks and now it is kinda off and on, some days really tender and other days not. i have alot of lower abdominla cramps like period cramps and occasional nasuea (worse when i am late eatinh)... i had 2 miscarraiges in the past and i have a 2 year old daughter.. i am very nervous and unsure of how i feel. i cant remember if the breast tenerness came and went when i was pregnant with my daughtre...i guess we just need some reassurance. my first medical appt is in 1 week. Did you have you HCG levels checked yet? i havent. good luck, keep me posted.

Sounds like we are having very similar concerns. My appointment for my first doctor's visit is next Wednesday and that's when I'll have my blood work done as well. I can't wait to get my HCG level because then hopefully I will be reassured that everything is okay. I just keep telling myself not to stress about it because that's not going to do my body any good. For a couple of weeks I would kind of get sick to my stomach, but it would only last for a little while. I haven't really noticed that I've been sick to my stomach for a few days now, except after I ate breakfast this morning. My husband keeps telling me to chill out. I'm so excited but hesistant to let myself be too happy just in case something happens. Let me know what you find out and I'll keep you in my thoughts! Good luck!

My advice is:

Go to the doctors to confirm any fears.

If you aren't cramping and bleeding don't stress yourself.

I'll admit when I miscarried I woke up with a noticeable diminishment of symptoms and started spotting that very day (at nearly 12 weeks). I'd 'missed' my miscarriage by nearly 6 weeks (blighted ovum) but felt extremely pregnant up to the point of bleeding.


Why? Who knows. Just get your fears assuaged by your doctor.

thanks pinkamerican..that is my fear,,the 2 miscarriages that i had were actually "missed miscarriages",,in one pregnancy i went on to 15 weeks thinking that all was well when in fact development had stopped at 8 weeks...and again in my last pregnancy development stopped at 6 weeks but i was more aware so i was getting my HCG checked every 3-4 days. i am very anxious to find out, i had my levels checked this Am so i should now more in the morning! keeping my fingers crossed.

This morning when I went to the bathroom I noticed a very light pinkish tint when I wiped. I immediately broke down and started crying, thinking here we go again. I've been a wreck all morning. I've been to the bathroom a couple of times since then and haven't noticed any odd coloring when I wipe. I called my doctor's office and was told that this can be perfectly normal. The nurse proceeded to tell me that it could be implantation bleeding. I questioned her on that because I'm 7 weeks along. She assured me that it could still be from implantation and my uterus stretching. I'm not having any cramps or anything but I'm so worried. The nurse told me unless things change, that I should just come in for my appointment on June 3rd as planned. This is going to be a LONG weekend!

Indeed it sounds like a long weekend ahead.

If you have ANY concerns before the Dr's apt, don't hesitate to demand to see the Dr early. Particularly if your sx's change.

BUT if no more spotting and no cramps, then give yourself permission to breath deep until the third and sta relaxed as you can be.

Thanks Pink. I am definitely trying to relax and I'm taking it easy this weekend. Thankfully, at this time, I'm not having any other symptoms of a miscarriage and the "spotting" has stopped for now. I'm crossing my fingers!

that is so nerve wracking..waiting is always the worse. you dont have any cramping so thats a great sign. try and relax and if anything changes i would definately demand to see a doctor..sometimes just seeing a dr can give you some reassuramce and help ou relax. i had some implatation bleeding with my daughter when i was 8 weeks. and like you i freaked thinking mc again...but all worled out. good luck keep us posted.

Well it's Sunday morning and I'm still not sure what's going on. My boobs hurt more again so I thought that was a good sign and I've been sick to my stomach a few times. However, about twice a day when I go to the bathroom I'm getting either very light pink or brown discharge when I wipe. The other times it's clear. Since it's not red, I feel a little relieved. I plan on calling the doctor tomorrow to see if I can go ahead an get blood work done tomorrow evening and then get it done again as scheduled Wednesday afternoon.

hey dukeblue how did your appt go today??? i have an appt in a few minutes, just waiting. i think i will request an ultrasound.. i had my HCG level checked at 7w3d and it was 64,567 which i think is fantastic, but over the weekedn i had a small amount of brown spotting, only lasted one day but it defintely scared me to death...i may also get my HCG checked again if my dr will let me/.... i try and not worry, and i jkind og envy all the ladies out there who get pregnant and tell everyone right away with no fear that anything will go wrong. i still ahvent told anyone, today i am 8W1D and dying to tell but i am scared. have you told yet???? i hop eyour appt goes well.

The nurse called me yesterday and told me my hcg level from the blood work I had done on Monday looked good. This afternoon I have an appointment with the nurse and then will have blood work done again so they can compare the numbers. I've had off and on spotting since Friday, some days I barely even notice and other days it's heavier. So I'm still not sure what's going on yet but hopefully I'll get some answers when they get today's blood work back. I'm still not having any cramping so that's a good thing. My breasts are still sore and I'm tired all the time. I haven't really experienced any morning sickness other than being queasy when my stomach is empty. Since I don't know what's going on, I've cut my dh off from sex and he's not too happy about it. :) I told him I'd ask the nurse today if it was okay to have sex.

We have told people mainly to have everyone pray for our little peanut. I know what's meant to be is meant to be, but miscarriages are so hard physically and emotionally. I don't let myself daydream too much about the baby just yet, I guess I don't want to get too attached just in case something happens. Easier said than done!

I am glad that you are still feeling pregnant.. i still have a ton of breast tenderness, lightheadness, nausea when i dont eat meals on time, but thats about it. i had my HCG drawn this AM so i will know tomrrow morning what the result is....cant wait. my dr doesnt feel at this point that i need an ultrasound.. my previous hcg levels when i misscarried were only like 4800 and didnt rise so he feels that since it is 64000 everything is progreessing well. ....i will feel more confifent when i get the latest result to make sure it is rising like it should...

i feel like i want to tell everyone but i am soo nervous, i have neeb busy with work and everything so i have kind of putthe excitment ion the back of my mind..i think i will tell everyone this weeknd if i continue to feel good.

Hi ladies! I just called my doctor saying the exact same thing as you guys minus the spotting. She wants me to come in for an ultrasound tonight. I am 6w2d and very concerned. Last time I had a miscarriage at 6wks and dont remember losing symptoms... my first clue was the light spotting. Let us know what is happening to you and I'll do the same. Good luck!

i had my blood work back this morning and my HCG has increased to 114,376....i shuld be 8w2d today...so 6 days ago it was 64,000...my dr felt that my pregnancy is progressing very well. i was a bit concerned that it didnt double but she siad that once you hit a certain level and weeks the HCG rises slower.? does this sound right to anyopne. i feel great, no more spotting and i find that when i get up really fast i feel a tearing pain in my lower abdomen..i had this with my daughter also.. keeping fingers crossed,

I'm just about 9 weeks pregnant and this past week I haven't felt a lot of the symptoms i was feeling in other weeks. I've experienced no blood spotting or lower abdominal pain, but I can't help thinking something is wrong. My appointment isn't until next week, I'm not sure if this is normal or not? First time pregnant.

If you've had NO bleeding and NO period-like cramps, then don't worry so much. I"m not saying things are fine or not, but they're serious when they say that bleeding especially paired with cramps should be the biggest red flag.

If you're feeling really nervous, see if your doctor will advise you to get blood drawn now to do an HCG count to compare it with another one when your actual apt is in two weeks.

Some ladies get, don't get, have or suddenly stop early symptoms for no predictable reason.

I've had one pregnancy before and felt pregnant every day until my miscarriage started (with spotting which turned to regular bleeding in 3-4 days). That was into my 11th week. What was worse, I had blighted ovum so there never was anything to be pregnant with. If my dr had done HCG, we might have noticed an issue earlier.

We really don't have much control over any of this except the control we exercise over our sanity.

So my sanity tool for this pregnancy is "no bleeding, no period-like cramps, no worry". Any other twinges and cramping I evaluate, but then ignore if it isn't period-like. And when I say period-like, I mean the worse cramps you get while in the middle of your period. Not achy ovary pain.
