Hi shannon, congradulations!! Im 16weeks pregnant and still feel like shouting from the roof tops! I found out when i was six weeks and every morning i always check my belly to see if theres anything there and im only starting to show now but its ace. The first twelve weeks is when you will get most of pregnancy symtoms so dont worry if you get cramping, sore heads dizzyness as they are all perfectly normal, but after the twelve weeks you will start to feel so much better and more energetic. Just watch what you eat as some things you are not allowed but dont worry about it as it gets easier. The internet is great to find info, im on it all the time looking at the same things over and over and i never get fed up. Just take things easy and drink plenty of water and just enjoy the experience even though there will be times when you feel ill but its only for nine month. Good luck with it all.xx

The only advice I can really give you is read up as much as you can on pregnancy and childbirth. that's what I have been doing my whole pregnancy and it really is helped me feel confident and informed. Take prenatal classes, its a good experience and really fun. You will feel really good about it. Make sure you are taking prenatal vitamins and eating healthy :) Good luck with your pregnancy

Congratulations!! That is wonderful! I am so happy for you! Ok, so I'm sappy and of course this made me cry. The book what to expect when you're expecting is a life saver for a first timer. It answered all of my questions and calmed all of my fears. I am so glad you dont have morning sickness yet, it is miserable

i am 20 too and i just wanted to say that im happy for you! i am not married and my pregnancy was not planned but it makes me happy to know there is someone out there who is my age and going thru it too! :o)

Awwww..thanks so much everyone for the very sweet and helpful replies! Things are still going great (7weeks and 3 days) still no morning sickness! I think I felt my first"flutter" yesterday and my husband was sad because he couldnt feel it...he's just as excited as I am! Thank again y'all, I'll try to keep you posted on my progress! God Bless!

Congratulations! I too recently found out that I am 6 weeks also. I have wanted a baby for a really long time and the first time I got pregant I misscarried early on. I am a little scared this time but something tells me that everything is going to be alright this time and I really hope it is. My due date is dec 10th. I am already started to show a little cuz i am so small. maybe we can keep in touch and let each other know how we are doing. It's been a while since I wrote this post, unfortunatly I lost the baby in early December...I was crushed...it was the worst exepeience I have ever gone through and had to have not 1 but 2 D&C's. My husband and I are moving to Belgium in Jan of 06' (he's in the air force) so we want to wait until we get there to try again. Good Luck to all of you and thanks for reading my post.

Oh, Shannon....I am so sorry to hear about that. I hope and pray that you and your husband are successful again, and that you carry full-term. I really don't know what else to say, except that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Maybe the child you and your husband are meant to have, is meant to be born in Belgium. I know that sounds corny - but I think that timing and location have a lot to do with almost everything that happens in our lives (duh, I know). I wish you luck and lots of baby dust when you are ready to get back into the ttc groove.....

So sorry to hear that, and to have sent you congratulations when you're feeling so miserable. I know you'll never forget the baby you lost, but you are so young that there's plenty of time for you to try again and every chance of you succeeding. I heard that a D&C's really clear you out and women often find it easier to get pregnant after one of these. Most women ( I think it's 95%) who suffer a miscarriage go on to have a normal full term pregnancy afterwards. Really hope you will come to terms with your loss soon and that you find happiness again when you get to Belgium. Best of luck to you in your future life. xxx
