Can You Ovulate Without Having A Period? Please Help TTC!

Hi, I came off BCP in August, started af on 16th August, but not had anything since. I have been to drs for a test and its come back negative. They told me as I have come off BCP it can take a while to come out of my system, but I am worried I wont get pregnant until I get af. Can I still ovulate without having a period? And is there anyway to make myself start my period? Thanks

Since ovulation is what triggers a period, when the period comes it will let you know that ovulation is back on schedule (and happened 2 weeks earlier). If you are real impatient you could start temperature charting. You will see the temperature jump at ovualtion time become pronounced when ovulation starts. Three months delay after coming off BCP is about average, I think. GL!
