I'm having some cramping and I'm about 7 weeks pregnant. I've also have had 5 miscarriages. Is the cramping because I'm going to miscarry or is it normal during your pregnancy? I haven't had any bleeding.

If it were not for your history of miscarriages, I would tend to say "no problem". Have you had any medical opinions on so many misses? Does this feel like previous occasions? Can you afford a doctor visit - might justify a quantitative hCG? Usually one would not think of miscarriage unless bleeding and cramping occurred together. We pray for your success.

It is normal to have some cramping and pulling because the uterus and the ligaments that support it are stretching and pulling, but it shouldn't be real painful and any bleeding and cramping is usually not a good sign. With your past history I would consult your Dr. though.

Thank you for your responses. The cramping is getting better and still no bleeding (which is a good sign). My doctor is on vacation right now, but I will consult with him when he gets back. Thanks again.
