I was recently informed that either my baby will be a 10 pounder when she is born or I am a few weeks ahead (meaning they messed up my due date). As of right now my little sweetie seems to be in the vertex position and i can feel her about 4+ inches above my belly button. I am supposively 27 weeks, but showing for anywhere between 29-31 weeks. I've asked multiple times for another ultrasound so they can get my due date correct but they tell me I should wait til I'm about 35 weeks, but how can they know if and when I will be at the 35 week mark if they say I'm more progressed than my original due date of January?
Any Advice?

A first trimester ultrasound is considered fairly accurate for due date calculation. As some fetuses get to be bigger than others later in pregnancy, ultrasounds don't help as much. Waiting until the due date is close allows them to make valid decisions based on the actual size of the fetus.
