Has Anyone Taken Sudafed For A Cold?

I just want to take one tonight since I have not slept in several days due to horrible congestion and cold. My doctor okayed sudafed. I just want to weigh the benefits and risks. I think lack of sleep is worse than one pill. I just want to know if it works. I would hate to take a pill and then still feel miserable. Anyone have any luck with sudafed?

Drugs.com is a good site it tells how safe medicines are in pregnancy it has every medicine you can imagine i was going to take sudafed for my cold but it can have risk there are other cold medicines that have less risk out there, just check out the site its very helpful
