My last period was one and half weeks early. I had unprotected sex with partner on the Friday 27th August, and due for my period on the 10th September. Is it possible that I could be pregnant.

They say you are supposed to be most fertile about 2 weeks after your period. But any time you have unprotected sex you stand a chance of getting pregnant. Even during you period. You are never completely safe unless you use protection. Good luck!

Well, that's 14 days before your expected period, making it the day most would expect you to ovulate. If you actually ovulated a day or two earlier, the egg would be past its 24 hour life and you would be safe. If you actually ovulated later you would be worried. Actual ovulation, according to recent studies, can be quite variable. A woman needs to learn the signs her body gives by feeling the cervix and mucus. The desire for sex also increases at that time. You are going to have to keep your fingers crossed. The probability of achieving pregnancy in just one month for a woman in her early 20s is 1 in 4. Look for spotting this week that would indicate implantation in the uterus and take a pregnancy test on the 10th to decide one way or the other. Please post the result here. We pray for a favorable result.
