I was given Provera on July 1st, July 7 I got I guess what is called the withdrawal bleed. DH and I BD'd July 3, 5, 11,12,13,15 18 and 20 which is today. I was given Metformin 500 mg on the 14th. And I am to increase it to two pills a day today and next week three times a day 1500mg. I have been trying to keep track of my BBT but, it has been doing some really crazy yo-yoing today it was 97.92 i missed yesterday the 17th and 18th my dr said it may not make sense to do it yet but the 16th 97.58 15th 98.08 i tracked other days but i don't see the point of putting that down. yesterday i started feeling a little nauseous and today as well. my boobs are a little sore too. but not enough to make me think prego. i took a preg test today it was -. I am not sure if after taking the provera and having the withdrawal AF will my cycle start again to a normal 28 day cycle? if so that should put my period at starting Aug 4th. I had blood drawn friday just waiting for the results. Been having lower back pain and abdominal pain on my right side. should I retest on the 30th. My doc is doing a pelvic sonogram on weds and checking to see if I ovulated

I probably won't be much help but I know Provera is used to bring on a period but I don't think it will continue to regulate your cycle. I am pretty sure once you are done taking it and your period comes it then is gone from your system. Then it is up to your body to resume normal periods again. I am not familar with metamorfin, except I know it is for the insulin resistance. Have you talked to your Dr. about adding clomid? I hear of lots of women having sucess with clomid and pcos.
