At 9 weeks I was on the toilet and while peeing I noticed some dark colored blood drip in the toilet. I then noticed some clotty blood. I didn't bleed much and put on a pad. I never did bleed again. When I got back to town i called a midwife. She said to give it a week and come in to check for a heart rate. I left town again and just arrived home. I now believe im 12 weeks pregnant and indeed still feel pregnant. When My husband gets home we plan to check for a heartbeat with the midwife next week.
I have told myself to relax and not get worked up about it. However im still anxious to find out, Do you think I for sure did miscarry? I thought I would bleed more. What else could it be?

no, it doesn't mean that. I think for a long time they use to think that, but I had bleeding for 6 weeks with both my pregnancies. I have a healthy 2 1/2 yr old and 15 weeks pregers now. I was diagnosed with subchoirnic hematoma. Did u see your doc yet?

Clots and bleeding are a bit different, if you pass clots of any size I would recommend going to the dr. I wouldn't wait. Just a quick after thought how big were the clots?

It was more like dark clotty shredded blood. Maybe a tsp or tbsp full. Dark like Jerky. This tue I have an apt to hear the heartbeat. If we hear nothing I plan to get an ultrasound to check. At the time I thought for sure I miscarried however when I had no more bleeding I had a new hope. I still feel pregnant and am hoping for the best. My main fear is I lost the baby but am still carrying the sack.

I mean a tsp or tbsp full after passing it all.

It doesnt sound like anything to be too worried about as long as the clot wasent solid. If you start passing golf ball sized clots, more bleeding, and/or cramps and contractions than go to your nearest ER. I wish you the best of luck on Tuesday and I hope you here your little wee one's heart pounding away :) Take Care

I've had two miscarriage one when I was 9weeks and it started out light bleeding then passed a large clot. The second I was only 4weeks and again it was a large clog but both times I bleed a lot. Enough that even with a pad on I leaked threw in less than two hours until I passed the clot then it slowed down. I wouldn't worry to much about it unless you start to bleed really heavy.
