Hello all, I'm new to the site, and am trying to get pregnant for the first time. I'm 22, healthy, don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. I take a prenatal vitamin every morning, and we have sex every day. We read that missionary with him on top and "doggie" style are the best, so we've been doing that, and waiting for 15 minutes before getting up after sex. My hubby is taking a daily multi vitamin, and we work out every day. What else can we do? Just want to make sure we're doing EVERYTHING possible! Thanks.

Some might suggest you quit trying so hard! Every other day might improve your chances. Are you in serious training - too much of that cuts down the probability. If you have no luck after three months, you could buy a basal body temperature thermometer and start charting - it will at least confirm you are ovulating. Good luck!

Actually sex everyday lowers a male sperm count slightly they suggest you do it about every 2-3 days to keep the levels high. Also do you temp? If you know about when your ovulating and try to have sex 2 times that day it might help increase your chance. As I did say sex everyday lowers the count so try to spread it out some, try temping or even OPking. Good luck

I would start keeping track of your cycles too, so you can figure out your ovulation. Also your cm (cervical mucus) will become like egg whites, clear and stretchy during your fertile period. If you know when to try, you don't have to have so much sex that it lowers your hubby's sperm count. Opk's (ovulation predictor kits)are like pregnancy test, you pee on the stick it will tell you if you will ovulate within 24 to 36 hours. It test for the Lh surge that happens right before the egg releases. Also no lubricants, unless its pre seed, they can kill sperm.
