I took both and it did not help me one bit! Peppermint candy did the trick for me. Good luck! |

Hi Jennifer! The unisom and B6 did help take the edge of the nausea for me but did not completely eliminate it. I think it took a couple of days. If it doesn't work for you, then you need to see a dr. There are several different medications they can try, and you are nearing the time when it is very important for you to start gaining a bit of weight. Please see a doctor if you don't feel better soon! |

Thanks ladies. My doctor was the one that told me to try it but he wasn't very hopeful about it because my nausea is so bad. If it hasn't helped by Monday, I will call and ask for something else. I have tried peppermint, ginger, gingerale, saltines, and just about every other imaginable thing but can't seem to get any relief. I have been living on dry cereal, strawberries, apple, dry toast, and hard candy. I would love a slice of pizza........and keep it down. |

Hey Jennifer...I'm 38 weeks today and have been suffering with nausea and vomiting through this pg. Try taking Gravol...Unisom does nothing!! The Gravol will probably make you somewhat drowsy, but the sleep is usually welcome when you feel so crappy! Start with a half a tab, and if after 4 hours it didn't really help, go up another half, and so on every 4 hours to a maximum of 2 tabs every 4 hours. Stick with the B-6 though, sometimes that does take awhile to work proper, and maybe try something like Pepcid or Zantac, sometimes those can help out also. I hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy being pregnant! :) |
