To all who are pregnant--when did you have your first signs, right after ovulation, around the time a/f was due, or later? And please describe! Thanks, I am very curious and anxious.

Carrie - the only real sign that I had was that I DIDN'T have any pms. Usually my boobs get sore on day 20 of my cycle & they didn't get sore until about day 25 (my cycle is 28 days).. I'm 4w6d now & my boobs being sore is really the only symptom that I have.. I am a little more tired than usual and a little more hungry than usual...

Carrie, I didn't really have any symptons until a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant, about 8 weeks into my pregnancy. I was tired and a little sick to my stomach.

Thanks for your answers. Just curious were either or both of you ttc? I noticed that I was having early symptoms, too early, like right after ovulation--(of course, I was not pregnant), but wonder if I have been thinking that normal PMS signs are pregnancy signs because I want to!

Well, many times I've thought I was pregnant, and found out I'd just been reading into the typical pms symptoms! When I started paying attention to how I felt, looking for symptoms, I started to notice all sorts of little twinges I hadn't before! It got me all excited over nothing more times than I want to admit. My first pregnancy, I had absolutely NO symptoms, which actually tipped me off it was different. Unfortunately, the day I had decided I'd go take advantage of our hospitals free testing program (5 days late), I started bleeding heavily and m/c. This pregnancy, I had all the normal pms symptoms, and kept running to the bathroom every hour because it felt like AF had started. But it didn't. Around the day it was due, I started having different symptoms - bad bloating, sore nipples, cramping without bleeding, noticing smells, mild nausea...most of the typical stuff.

I found out at about 4 weeks - very early. I was on the pill so my periods were always spot on the same date. My first test came out negative, then a week later the second was positive - so was the third (I wanted to be VERY sure). My breasts became extremely sensitive but apart from that, nothing much changed..till now x x x
