I've never had a single high bloodpressure reading in my entire life . . . but today, my vision is really blurry, and I know this is a sign of preeclampsia. Has anyone else had this before? I was just at the dr's less than 2 weeks ago and they didn't mention protein in my urine or anything, so I don't think that's been an issue either. But has this happened, where your BP has been normal and then developed preeclampsia all of a sudden? Or maybe I'm just overreacting . . . Any advice would be welcome right now. Thank you

I had fairly blurry vision occasionally when I was pregnant. I talked to my doctor about it and after he checked all my levels and told me that sometimes pregnant women can get blurred vision. It went totally away after I had my daughter and I never had preeclampsia or any pregnancy complications. Good Luck. If it's still bothering you at your next appointment, talk to your doc about your concerns.

Definitely mention it to your doctor, but try not to be too worried. Vision problems are common in pregnancy. I see floaters (spots in front of my eyes) constantly. It's driving me nuts, but my OB says it'll go away after I have the baby (in 2 weeks). Eye doctors will recommend that you don't have an exam while you're pregnant because your vision can be so funky. So like I said, don't worry, but mention it to your doctor. Hope it's nothing. Good luck!

Hi, I have had blurry vision for about 4 months now. I am 29 weeks pregnant and my blood pressure is fine and there are no other apparent problems going on. I told my doctor about it, and she didn't seem worried. She just said that it happens when your pregnant sometimes and that it could be permanent and it could be temporary. My vision has seemed to be getting better in the last couple weeks. I have also had very good vision up until I got pregnant. So just check with your doc and if all your levels are normal then you are fine and hopefully it goes away.
