Hi, this question is gonna be honest and out there but what the heck.. I have been having an affair with my ex for the whole month of october.. We found out we were pregnant Nov. 1 and I scheduled my doc apt for next week. I'm nervous b.c I slept with a guy in early sept that I was dating before the affair came about. BUT I had a full period sept 26 for 4 days straight everything normal. I read all these stories about women who still get periods during pregnancy. Can the doctor be absolutely sure I got pregnant in Oct? I've only had symptoms the past 2 weeks and nothing in sept so I'm pretty darn sure.. I just want to make 100 percent. This sounds so bad but he is the father of my other two and things have been great I don't wanna blow it. Thanks a lot..

Jamie - no judgments here. we are all grown women and all of us have some skeletons. But to answer you question the dr. can do an ultrasound to check measurements of the baby and then could pinpoint a range based on you lmp when you may have conceived. I would suspect that this is probably your exes baby since you did not mention that your periods were irregular or that you have a very short cycle. Either way congrats on your BFP!
