I have been on glucophage for PCOS since pre-conception. It has been a miracle drug for me and since it lowers the rate of miscarriage I have stayed on it. I was wondering if there are any other women out there who are on it too and we could exchange stories?

I was just put on Met. for the same reason. I am 6 weeks preg, and the dr said it would help reduce my risks of miscarriage from 50% to 15%. I am looking for some supporting documentation now regarding this. Saw your note, and wanted you to kno you were'nt alone. Good luck to you.

Hello! I was on metformin prior to pregnancy and during my 1st 3 mos (1st tri) of pregnancy. My Dr. said I have to keep takin them during my 1st 3 mos. to reduce the risk of m/c. Now Im 17 wks and Ive been off metformin for almost 4 wks now....Its alot better now bcoz I was takin 3 tablets a day including my prenatal vitamins and its been hard for me to take them all.....Good luck to you!
