What an absolutely fancinating question. I know a lady who is fair skinned with a dark skinned hubby and they had twins. One was dark with dark straight hair, the other was fair with curly orange hair, so i guess you will have to wait and see, and good luck :)

Kris I have biracial kids and am currently preg. again.Your baby will prob with no doubt have dark brown eyes and dark hair . The babies skin will prob be carmel kinda. The worst thing about biracial kids is thier hair. All my kids have white hair texture but kinky curls. Thats known as good hair.lol.Bad hair blond tinted and straight. Good luck and rember race has nothing to do with whether or not your baby will be healthy. And Iam sure he/she will be cute

Kids are beautiful no matter what color. I have seen some beautiful all race people mixed or not.

Some people looked mixed and are not mixed. I think those are the ones who are beautiful. Halle Berry, Jasmine Guy,Lisa Bonet, Shemar Moore etc. looks old now and they are not that good looking anymore. HB,LB, and JG are down right ugly.

I have the similar situation. I am white, my husband is black. I was very curious as to what our baby would look like. When he came out, he looked very WHITE!!! He had some small black features, and as he has grown older, they continue to get more pronounced. He is still very light skinned, but darker than I am. He looks like he has the perfect tan, yet, he is only 8 months old.

I watched a documentary last week called "Human Mutants", in which they said it had been scientifically proven that mixed race kids have a much higher chance of being good looking than those of us who in-breed with our own races.

My girlfriend is married to a black man and they have a little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes and she is just beautiful! She is pregnant again so I am sure they will have another beautiful child.

If your husband has 2 dominant alleles for eye color, your baby has 100% chance of having brown eyes. If he has one dominant and one recessive allele, your baby has only 50% chance of having brown eyes, 50% blue/green/hazel/gray.

I have a question 2, My friend is white and her b/f is white. But she also had sex with a black man at the time she got pregnant. Her baby came out pretty white. He's only a few days old. If he is mixed - its possible that it will take awhile for more color 2 show right???

according to my studies if the child is a female she will have the features of her father. If the child is a male then he will have the features of his mother.

As a mixed race person whof identifies solely as black, I find this sight very ofensive. The way that you people speak of your children is a bit worisome. I have read comments saying that couples couldn't wait to see what was "created" and references to people who aren't even mixed (in terms of one black and one white parent - i.e. Vanessa Williams). Mixed race people are people, not dogs, and the latter is the way that many of you have been talking about them. I hate to babble on, but the reason that this board is annoying is because race is a social concept to begin with, defined by white people in power. 250 years ago the term "bi-racial" didn't exist. Why? Becuase it was more useful for white people to call anyone with any black blood "black" in order to increase thier slave stock. Fast forward to today and now the term "bi-racial" is trendy. Why? Because again its always easier to define (at least half-black kids) as not black ,but bi-racial, to further destroy any chance of black solidarity (or group success) in this country. Race is merely a social construct utilized by white people to continue supression of minorities, especially that of black people. But considering the nature of discourse on this site, I doubt anyone here will care. Later.

What? - May 20th, 2005 10:21 PM

People will always be curious about what their children will look like regardless of racial background! The more different the parents look from each other the more curious people will be about the outcomebecause there are so many variations that can occur. It has nothing to do with race and it's not treating kids like dogs!

nenita - May 20th, 2005 10:22 PM

anyone in this site things that A is the one that has issues...with her race?? Why bring that up when noone is even talking bad about it????

good point - May 20th, 2005 10:22 PM

you're right, A. Don't know why this country is so set on differentiating between black and white. Why aren't asian and hispanic for instance set apart from whites? Why is it other races seem to be like "no big deal" but STILL after years and years of debating and liberation are blacks still thought of differently. I swear, it's disgusting.
