has experienced this...

i was at my midwife appointment and when i lay down for the doppler and pulled up my shirt, there was a very big lump, like a softball, slightly left and below my belly button. im almost 18 weeks, fairly thin and have the start of a belly.
this morning when i was laying in bed i felt a tremendous amount of movement between my belly button and pubic bone and then noticed that same lump. im pretty sure its the baby but ive never heard of anything like this before. is this a braxton hicks or just the baby pressing on my belly. ive been feeling movement since 14 weeks, this bean is very active for so young.

There is NOTHING to worry about. My son was the same way.Your little one was probably doing summer saults. Or maybe he/she found a comfortable position. Wait til you get farther along. If you lay down you will be able to tell what is a hand what is a foot, it's amazing.Enjoy this sensation you are lucky to be feeling it so intensely so soon. I have heard a lot of women don't feel it until they are at least 20 weeks along. Good luck and I hope this helped.
