Hello everyone. My wife is 17 weeks and we love sex. We plan on continuing to have sex until she doesn't feel up to it or until the baby comes. But lately when we have sex she starts bleeding and it scares her. We went to the doctor and they said that something damaged her cervix and that she can't exercise as much. But said she would be fine it would just bleed for the moment then go away. Is it safe for us to continue to have sex if she starts to bleed when we do? I don't want to hurt the baby and I don't want her to worry about losing it everytime we are done having sex.

Just like anything i would let it heal first, give it a a week or 2. 2 would be better as then it will heal completely, if you are unsure get a second opinion.

My husband and I had a similar prob last month and went to the dr. he said to take it easy for a little while. We waited 2 1/2 weeks and haven't had the prob again. Just try positions that doesn't allow the penis to penetrate as deeply

Me and my husband had similar problems and i ended up going to the hospital because of it as well. The doctor told us not do be as rough and to be more gentle and wait a week and it would be alright, so we have done that and have not have the problem since!! Best of lcuk

Me and my wife had the same problem. And the dr told us the same thing. But we waited a couple days and got some medicine that produced more acid for the placenta ( I hope I spelled it right) and we are right back to having sex again. I just know to take my time because her placenta will get weaker the more you damge the cervix.
