wHAT WOULD CAUSE MY BABY NOT SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT? HE IS THIRTEEN MONTHS AND HE WAS SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT AT FOUR WEEKS NOW ALL HE DOES IS GOES TO BED AT NINE THE WAKES UP AT ONE THEN GOES BACK TO SLEEP AND WAKES UP AT FOUR THEN WHEN I PUT HIM IN BED WITH ME HE SLEEPS FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT. WHY DOES HE DO THIS?

This is normal. You'll get more sleep yourself if you just have him sleep with you. You'll both get a good nights sleep. Read the book "The Family Bed" it has lots of good information about sleep problems.

He is prolly scared to sleep by himself just lay in ur bed with him and get him to sleep and see if you can move him into his bed if that doesn't work just let him sleep with you for a while then see how he does in a few weeks hope this helps

when my son was about 18 months my son wasn't sleeping as well. where is room was alot of lights from cars driving by went across his room i think it was scary for him. i put a nightlight in his room to reduce the visablity of these extra lights. car lights can shine in his room at nights that may cause it

my baby is also 13 months and did the exact same th ing ..Until I had to let him cry himself to sleep-I was told every time he cried and I would go into his room that I was actually making it worse. So everytime he woke up he knew me or his father would be there. After about 3 nights of hell..He finally started to be a little more independent on going to sleep.

He could be going through seperation anxiety. He might not be able to sleep because hes afraid and he wants to be by his Mommy. My brother did that for a long time then, on his own started sleeping in his own bed again. Maybe everynight before he goes to bed give him a nice bath, then read him a book and see if he sleeps better, it could be a comfort thing.

This is the first I've heard of this, I heard of babies not sleeping through the night when they are born but not at 13 Months. My baby is 5 Months old now. I am worried when he starts teething this may happen to him. Do you think it might be that he is teething? Somebody?
