I have been looking at this, a friend of mine does this and last summer lost over 25lbs and lost many inches, I'm not fat per se, just have that I had a baby 6 months ago jelly belly and don't want it anymore. I never have been a tiny person, nor am I out of shape, I just need some help and thought this would be a fun way to do it. My dh wants to do it to as he doesn't need to bulk up on muscle because he would be a Hercules, but he wants to get rib of his post baby belly also, lol. I grew a baby, he grew a food baby. Any comments, suggestions?

well, i bought a wondsor pilates video after i had my first baby... I think i watched it once. lol. i just found it kind of boring. I would be more into kickboxing or something, i think. i know some women who swear by pilates and yoga.. and if you're into that stuff i think it's a great way to tone up your belly, and other muscles. It just wasn't right for me. Too slow, I think.. plus, I could never really find an hour straight to do the workouts!!

I do aero pilates (bought the system and do it at home). It worked well on my core muscles. I am 5 1/2 months pp and my belly is flat again. I am not going to lie I don't have six pack but its flat in the very least. I also go to the gym 6 times a week for weight training.

Well I just want it to look better, and it really isn't that bad, I don't really have any stretch marks or anything and want to wear a bikini and not have such a pooch. I started walking and that was helping immensely, I also am thinking about joining a beginner belly dancing class, which would also be entertaining. In the summer I am really active, I just have the March funk going on, it's not spring and I am so over with winter, I just want to be able to go for a hike with our dd and get outside, I haven't been able to snowboard or do anything so I am just in a funk about my body, and it really isn't all bad, just a little flabby.

I have windsor pilates. I love the moves, but also found watching the video took too long, so I just made a list of the moves and do them while I'm watching tv or whatever. Pilates really worked well for me. I did them in addition to lots of other forms of exercise and looked awesome for a trip we took a couple of years ago. Funny thing is at the time I was bummed I hadn't trimmed up more, but now I look at those pictures and would love to have that body again!!! I've only just started doing them again since giving birth 7 weeks ago. With spring coming up I'm really anxious to get rid of the baby belly...and the baby thighs and butt!
