Hi there!!!! Happy New Year!!!!. My daughter just turned 5 months old and for the past few days I have noticed that when ever she goes poop it goes up her back she is in size 2 pampers swaddlers, i bought a pack of the size 3 cruisers and they are way to big on her. When she was born she wore huggies but they leaked she has also been in the pampers baby dry but they give her a rash. Do any of you have any suggestions on what to get. Thank you.

I didnt know that Swaddlers came in size 2, I have never seen them. Where do you get them from? I switched to the Baby Dry because my son grew out of the Swaddlers but if i can get them in a size 2 ...

this might sound stupid, but do you fold the back in or do you leave it sticking out?

I leave it out, should i tuck it in? I have some huggies baby shape fit I have had so I put one of those on her and the poo did not come up the back thae elastic band caught it. We will se where we go from there.I hope they don't leak like the last huggies.

You have to tuck it in, it'll catch most leaks...a trick I learnt from my mom and it worked well for me, especially with pampers...

I have found that different diapers work well for different babies during different stages. haha... anyhow. When Blake was born Huggies baby shaped was what I used because all the pampers leaked. Then I started using Luvs at one point cause that was all that wouldn't leak. Now Pampers Cruisers leak the least. Ah - Heck! Give her a couple weeks to grow into size better and they probably won't leak at all!

I like the folding the back over deal. Emma's diapers leak if she poohs cus it's always runny. She's only 3 mo old. I love Pampers. I hate Huggies. They leak the worst and I have like two huge bags of them from before she was born. Try Target brand. They work good too. I have a huge bag of those too.

My 5 month old is in size 3 huggies...not a leak since we moved her out of the size 2s. I did send my DH to get diapers once, and he bought the similarly colored generic diapers by mistake - I'm trying to use all those up, and I personally think they suck...she leaks all over the place in them.

Target diapers do wonders for me. We have had barely any leaks since we went to size 3, but my chunker is almost 18 lbs. All the name brand diapers leak on my guy!

My daughter is 14 pounds, how much should a child weigh to wear size 3 huggies, the pampers cruisers are for 16 pounds I bought a pack I had a coupon they are way to big for her. I am curious to know about the huggies I want to give them another try, she is in them now I had some size 2's that I got a while ago but I was scared to use them because the 1's leaked. So far no problems with the huggies, they are not as soft as the swaddlers though. But i guess it doesn't matter as long as they do not leak.

Faiths mommy, Renity weighs 14 pounds, too. The diapers say they're for 16 pounds, but she was leaking out of the size 2 dipes so badly I moved her up.

I just moved Nathan out of size 2 swaddlers thinking that size 3 would cure his poo leaks. So far, size has not made a difference. I like the idea of folding it under. I have never heard of that before.

Thanks Jamie I will try size 3 huggies I will buy them tomorrow, ?I am going to have so many diapers. I already have alot of size 1's I guess it is a trial and error type of deal when it comes to what kind of diapers will work for your child. By the way love your daughters name Renity that is very pretty.
