I have one of those front carriers for my daughter,I don't know what the 'pound' limit is for it though. If you have one how long did you use it for or what age was your lo when you retired the ol' front carrier??

It usually says on the labels..I had one that was up to 15 lbs (if I remember correctly), this one is up to 30 lbs, I think, so it will be a while yet before I give this one up! DS is so used to going for walks in one of these, he doesn't really like to be pushed around in a stroller anymore - and it's good exercise for me too..

I have a snugli and I still have the box, it says 7 to 26 lbs. I don't know what kind you have but you could probably look it up online? I still use mine, Carlie is 7 1/2 months, 17 lbs.

Thanks Ladies! I will try and look on the tag that's on it,or online,my daughter is 22 pounds and 10 months, seems like I could use it for awhile longer.

I say until it hurts your back, lol. My dd started hurting my back at about 3 months, all that weight in the front, plus I have like 20 lbs of boobs(at least it feels that way) everything was pulling me forward. It really did say 7-22 lbs also, but she was barely 13 and it really hurt me, I'm using a sling now to hip carry her, feels so much better.
