I'm just wondering how your cycle is after you finish breastfeeding or giving birth (for those who aren't breastfeeding). I finished BFing at the end of November, around Dec. 19th had a positive ovulation test and AF started on December 31st. I know I ovulated this month (perhaps even twice) and so sign of AF yet. I'm just wondering what everyone else's experience is. Thanks!

I BF both my sons until they were about 2 months old. I got my 1st AF at 4 months PP with both of them. With ds1 I didn't get another AF and fell pregnant with ds2 at 7 months PP. With ds2 (now 8 months old) I have been getting AF every month but it has been 7-10 days late every month. It looks like my hormones are still trying to settle down. That doesn't stop me testing with a HPT every time I'm late. I think I would have a heart attack if I were to fall pregnant again. If I were you I would test with a HPT just to rule pregnancy out, and if it's negative you can just chalk it up to hormone imbalance.
