I went to the library to return a book I had got to use for finals (2 weeks ago) but hadnt had time to return it until today because as soon as finals were over I started May term classes. It was a day late so there was a 10 cent late charge. Well, I open my wallet, and have nothing no change at all! So I tell him to hang out and go out to my car and search through the glove compartment, cup holders, everywhere and there is no change there either!! My DH has completely cleaned out all my change to buy his snuff with (which I cant stand him dipping, but that is another vent!)! So I had to call him and stand outside the library and wait on him to bring me a dime so I could check out the books I needed. That is when you know you are broke!!

Geeeze! Couldn't the library just let it go? My dh would have NEVER brought me a dime, so I guess you should thank him!

Cassie06-Aw, from now on, when cleaning the house ect collect all change and keep it in a secret place. I have a glass purse that my sister gave me a few years ago and thats where I keep my change, then I go to the Coin Star machine and collect the paper bills, for groceries or whatever, but i know how you feel, I have run into incidents at the grocery store where I didnt have enough for my groceries, the last time that happened was when i was pregnant, after the cashier got through ringing up the groceries I was OVER $2 short, he was so sweet, he said "Dont worry about it, i got you" right before I was going to tell im to take a couple items out. Its so heart breaking to go through stuff like that. But I praying that things will get better for me and my family. We'll have so much money and change that we'llhave to give some away.....lol ok i dont want that much!

oh my ex used to take my change all the time for beer money and we were always so broke that I would put away the change to use for gas or whatever if we ever needed to and when we did need it I would go and look in there and it would be only pennies left he would take all the silver I hated that about him LOL guess that is why I am so glad we are divorced now!!
