Strange Sticky Behvaiour No Food

My son is 11.5 months old a very good eater so far. No problems at all with food .However lately he has been not eating much at all. doc says he is teething but he is gaining weight so its fine which is a big concern I have. Second things is he has become very very sticky these days he just wont leave his mom .he wants to be held all the time.He was incredibly social and chearful guy but there is this sudden change. What can i do to make him go back to his normal routine.
