My daughter just turned 3 months old last week. If she's sitting up while we're holding her hands and give just the slightest tug, she'll stand up! She can support all her weight on her own. We don't even really have to hold her up, she'll just hold our fingers and stand there herself. Should she be doing this yet? Does this mean she's going to walk early?

who knows if she'll walk early or not.. but she will probably cruise furniture like nobodies business. If she can do it, let her. Both my and one of my close friends incurred alot of critisism about our children because they could stand on their own while leaning against things (like the couch or wall), and was trying to stand and walk holding onto hands at three months, but they were both walking very early (her daughter was actually walking at 7 months, i'm not kidding, i've never seen anything like it. My son just after 8 months). It sounds like she's got alot of leg muscles, and getting her an exersaucer or a jolly jumper might be a great idea. If you do decide on a jolly jumper (which they LOVE) anchor it in the middle of the ceiling rather than using the clamp they give you for door frames. In my experience, they out-bounce the width of the door and your just going to get injuries. Otherwise, good luck, encourage her as much as you can, just don't force her to do what she isn't willing to. Oh, and once she is cruising furniture and pulling herself up without help, take away the saucer or jumper, if she hasn't rejected already, so she can focus more on moving forward than up and down, now that she has the muscle and endurance.
