Hmmm, I posted about this last week I think, and I personally feel that you would get clear signs from your lo as to when it is time to stop. My cousins son is 2 and she still showers with him. He still doesnt pay any attention to the different parts so she is confortable with it. I would stop when they start asking "Mommy, what is that and where is yours?" lol...... |

I agree with Reachbree. When they are of the opposite sex and start to realize that you are different, then it's time. Now my dd and I still sometimes dress together and she's 8. My dh stopped undressing in front of her when she grabbed his weiney and said what's that at around 2.5. And the funny thing is that he covers up now even in front of the baby. She doesn't even know she has any body parts let alone that daddy's are different. rofl!! I think it depends on your modesty level also. |

My dd is 16 mos, and has started pointing at DH's willy and saying "that?". He said, "that is Daddy's pee-pee, don't look!!" ha So, now when she sees it, she says "pee-pee" and that is the end of it. He is starting to cover up in front of her now, unless she just happens to walk in on him unannounced. She pays no attention to me, but will sometimes point to "mine" and say pee-pee, too. I am not weirded out by it, but then again I am female. I saw my mom dress/undress my entire life. I don't think it is weird at all, but I can totally see where dh is coming from on his end!! :) |

My oldest wasn't really aware until about age 4 or 5. He would just walk in and ask me questions and couldn't have cared less. But the first time that I felt like he was LOOKING looking that was it (he's almost 7 now). Leah's 3 and Justin will be 2 in a few weeks and they still see me in the shower or undressing. Leah knows about "the parts" but it doesn't bother me since she's girl, but daddy covers up around her. Justin hasn't really noticed, so I guess it'll go by when I feel uncomfortable with him there. |
