Hello,
My baby is two and a half months old and she has not has a bowel movement in 2 days.I am not sure if this is cause for concern. She does not seem to be in any pain although she is spitting up a lot.She spits up after each feeding 2-3 times.I would appreciate it if any of you could give me some advice.
Thank You

Call your baby's doctor and ask them. It sounds like you're probably bottlefeeding, so maybe you need to switch to a different kind of baby bottle. I used Playtex Ventflow. You might need to switch to a different kind of formula, but don't do that without the doctor's advice.

if you're bottle feeding then you should call your ped. there could be something in the formula that she's having a hard time digesting. my son couldn't tolerate the iron in most formulas, once we switched to a low iron he did great. if you're breastfeeding, it's fine for babies to go up to 2 weeks without a bowel movement. breast milk is so pure, there is very little that doesn't get used up by the body.

I bottle feed and use the ventflow bottles which are great for my daughter she usually goe at least once a day but some times every other day if the bowel movements are soft when she does go don't worry she's not constipated but I agree with jbear maybe it's the formula
