Cheapest Changing Table

I've never used a changing table with either of my kids. I've always just put the changing mat on the floor and viola! Since your lo is almost one, I honestly wouldn't even bother with one. JMO though! :o) |

Yeah, i stopped using my changing table when DS was around 6 months......my bed , couch or floor works just as good ! Just put a disposable pad under him and you got it ! |

Unfortunately, I have a dog, so anything that lays down, he has to come to lick it/poke it etc!! So i've never ever tried laying her down on the floor! Bed, yes, i've tried, but she does the pee-ing just after I removed the old one and before I can snap the new one on, and had to throw the comforter/sheet in the wash! So hate changing her on the bed. I guess, it's not worth buying eh? She keeps rolling off the changing table on the pack n play too anyways, so maybe I'll just have to train my dog to stay away! LOL! |

I hear ya on the dog issue! I've now blocked our living room off with a baby gate...to keep the baby in and the dog out! I also hate all the hair that comes along with having the dog too, so blocking off the one room where Trevor can basically do anything works out pretty well. We are all happy with the situation, excpet for the dog...he feels left out! |

ohhh don't tell me about hair! We have a lab mix and he's got a coat that sheds all year long!!! or so it seems! I have to literally swiffer every day! And even after that, i'm sure i'll get some more if I do more often! Neha seems to love to get the hair in her hands and i once caught her eating it! YUCK!! |

I bought a changing table from target. It's white and very sturdy. It has a couple shelves and comes with a couple of large baskets. It was about $100. It was the cheapest sturdy one I found. Now that it's summer, yard sales are always a place to look for cheaper ones. |

I don't know if you really need one at this point but you if you think you do, I would consider getting one at Craigslist. |

Do you have those change table things you can clip or put over the bath? I don't know how sturdy they are though.. but I think they aren't very expensive. |

Bought one at babyco here in aus for 150, one of the cheaper models, its rarely used in ec and up for sale hah...... Its usually the barbie couch she has or the floor, the change table did get used at one point for a few mths, this item was a money waster for sure, at my mums i use a change mate thats padded, cost twenty bucks and i should have bought the same for here. |

My changing table cost around $2500. It's nice and cushy! I just love it. It's my bed. LOL! But I'm with the other girls, I would try a consignment shop or yard sale. GL! :O} |
