My baby is 4 weeks old and she gets really bad colic, i have tried just about everything i can think of to alleviate it for her, but NOTHING seems to work. Some days she cries and wont settle for hours and seems to be in excrutiating pain. I have read a lot of info on the net. I have changed my diet, changed feeding pattern, started burping her during feeds, rocking her, singing to her, lying with her, colic drops, massage, warm baths....you name it, i've tried it!! Has anyone ever found something that actually helps to prevent or alleviate the pain of colic?? I can't stand seeing her in pain, and it's frustrating that i can't help her. Please help if you can!!!!

buy the book "the happiest baby on the block" by pediatrition Dr Karp. my pediatrition recommended it. my baby is only 2.5 weeks old and does not have colic. she does get fussy and the tip in this book helps. anyway... my doc says this book has helped many of his babies... it is a great book to have anyway. you should really check it out. Good Luck!
