Hi I just took my ds to the pedi for his 6mnths shots and this time it left a knot on his little leg he got 3 shots and only 1 place he got a shot has this knot...he got his shots on fri and it is tues and it is still there has anyone else had this happen? I was thinking of calling his pedi and asking if maybe something is wrong. He seems fine no fever or anything and the knot does not seem to hurt him but I am still worried.

My dd had the same thing happen after her 3 month shots. I wouldn't worry about it.

yeah, actually the np told me there could be little swollen pockets after bella's 4month shots. I would just keep an eye on it and call if it doesnt go away soon but dont worry!

totally normal. My ped. said the knots could last up to 6 weeks, but that it was nothing to worry about. If they seem to hurt your ds, rub them lightly with a warm washcloth and massage them in the bath.

my pedi warned me that it could happen and not to worry unless there is a fever of 102+
