You could mix up a little formula if you have some. I breastfed my son but always had a can of sample formula in the house. |

I used formula for ceral as I did not want to use my pumped milk for that. Also purfied water is okay too. How old is your lo? When I started giving mine fruits, I mixed the cereal with banana or applesause babyfood..... |

my dd is six months and i just started introducing vegetables to her. Would I want to give her fruit in her cereal if I haven't really given her many vegetables? |

You can mix w/ purified water, however it will not have much taste to it. She may refuse to eat it. You can mix it w/ fruits or veggies (although, im not sure how the oatmeal cereal would taste w/ carrots... LoL) I mixed rice cereal w/ peas, carrots, or any fruit or veggie. If it's too thick, add just a little water. You can deff use formula to mix w/ the cereal and still breastfeed. Formula, like breastmilk is sweet tasting. If you have already intorduced some veggies... you can introduce anything. Just wait a couple of days inbetween food intorduction to make sure that she isn't allergic to anything. |
