my little one is almost 6 months old, and his head his flat, its been that way seen he was 2 months, and although it has gotten a little better , it is not much better, so the doctor says he needs more tummy time, but he HATES tummy time , he cries very hard after about 3 minutes, and I've tried to prop him up on a bobby , but that didnt work either, any suggestions? plus he LOVES his thumb, a little too much, I mean he cant decide which one he wants, he will suck BOTH of them at the same time , haha, its cute , but when I am feeding him solids, its very frustrating becaues i cant get his hands out of his mouth! he wont take a binky, please help!

Sorry I don't have any advice but my ds does the same thing. (He's almost 6 months too) He tries to get his fist in his mouth when I'm feeding him, and then he does raspberries besides. That makes for a BIG mess!! lol He'll also chew on the nipple from the bottle. I try to hold his hands or keep them busy when I feed him but that doesn't always work.

i have the identical situations to both of you. my lo is almost 5months so to try and get rid of her flat head i put her in her bouncer thing (where she stands) a few times a day and hold her a lot (not always by choice). Honestly though i dont think it helps much. As for the the thumbs, it is so aggravating at 3 am when she is screaming for her bottle and I cant get it in her mouth because she refuses to take her hands our of her mouth. ;0
