Raised Skin In 7mo DD Perineal Area

Hi my DD is 7 months old with in the last week i noticed the skin between her vagina and anus is raised and a bit red kind of like an extra flap of skin. I was wondering if anyone knew what this could be and if i need to get it checked out I cant find anything on the internet to see what it may be so i hope someone here can help otherwise I will call the dr I just don’t want it to be something that is kind of normal and look stupid asking the Dr. thank you and sorry if this is kind of a weird question

So i went to the Dr's yesterday with her and he said it is just an irritated skin tag and it will go away on its own wheew
