when can you stop steralizing bottles?

as long as you wash your bottles with soap or in the dishwasher, i see no problem with not doing it. the only time i have ever boiled bottles and nipples is after we went through an ecoli scare with our water.

I sterilized bottles with my twins for a couple of months. With my baby (now toddler) I just washed it in soapy water or tossed it in the dish washer. I don't think he had so much as the sniffles until he was 10 months old and stopped nursing on his own :).
