how dumb am I.....what's AF? ;p

your not dumb...I didnt know either until I asked..its your period.

My cycle was and is very regular. If mine had come on the 5th of Dec, I wouldn't be expecting it until next Monday. Are you usually a regular 28 day cycle?(Unfortuantely mine is here today, yay)

I figured AF meant something like that by using those "context clues" we learned about in grade school...hahaha...LOL....well, I had my baby on Oct. 12th and just got my first period Christmas day...ohh geezzz...merry christmas to me...haha... still had it yesterday....and frankly it sucks! I think it takes a while to get regular again. Are you on any hormones??bc?? that will throw you off too...so will bf ing...

No BC pills we only used condoms. But I have been on antibiotics and motrin for the last few days...I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

It might take you some time to get on a regular cycle. Was your cycle regular before pregnancy?

i have always been very confused about all this. before I got pg i was on the pill.... so it was regular....i dont get it every 4 weeks, i get it every month....does that make sense? i get it on the exact date every month...so I got it on the 12/2 I should get it on 1/2 so that would make it more than 28 day cycle right?

That would be more than a 28day cycle. Mine comes every 4 weeks from when it started last, regardless of pill or not. I think it is still probably not back on track. Plus, pumping still may have something to do with that as well.

I don't think antibiotics or motrin would make any difference in your cycle...it just takes some time to get back on track. You know I just learned that you actually conform your cycle to syncranize (sp?)with other women you are around! did everyone know that or am I just "dumb" again?? haha... some how, your hormones will "harmonize" with your girlfriends, it's weird, but I guess true bc my 13yr. old daughter and I have our periods at the same time...too funny! So....are you hanging out with any ladies?? regularly?? something to think about anyhow...

I hang out with one person only at work and she is pregnant. So I guess that is not going to be helping me....

Wow Barb, that is rather interesting. I must say though, that growing up my mother and I used to get our periods at the same time. Now her and my sister gets it at the same time. My sister is 14 and of course lives at home. Monica, before you were taking the pill how regular was it? That might be your key to some sort of understanding considering you are not taking bc right now.

before I got on the pill I was not regular ...thats why I loved the pill because it made me regular.

Maybe you are going back to your pre-pill cycle days.

All I know is that I would die if I was PG again!!!! And I would blame my DH (dumb husband if I am ) for wanting it all the time.....

I have had one period since having my youngest and it lasted 3 days but my god it was so heavy!!! I'm getting the coil which stops you having periods :-) Can't wait to get it fitted!!!!
