Hi ma1008, I was just at the pedi yesterday for my dd's 10 month appointment and asked about food. Mainly the things you CAN'T give her are : peanut butter, honey, nuts, uncooked or hard fruits/veggies, seafood, fish. I have been giving my daughter yogourt and cheese since 8 months and she absolutely loves it! I also give her 1/2 piece of toast in the mornings, you can give macaroni or rice, basically, anything you eat that is cut small and soft enough. As for milk, it's different depending where you live, but usually recommended between 10 and 12 months.
