Any Advice On How To Induce Labor At 37 Weeks?? Help!!

Hello all,
I need some advice...I am having the most unbearably painful pregnancy, and it has been like this the whole time. My daughter was born premature, but her pregnancy was a breeze compared to this one. Maybe because I am having a boy and am alergic to the male hormone. jk. anywho, I am READY for this to be over. I have been trying to primrose oil and red raspberry tea, but no luck. Been having a lot of sex, and walking a lot too, but no luck. Two weeks ago I was in false labor, and apparently I am currently 4 cm dialated, and 50 % efaced, buit not in active labor (that was a horrible experience since they put an epidural in me and I was in labor and delivery for an hour!!) i just want this to be done. I cry every night because I am that miserable. Please no rude remarks...I have been handling this well up until now, and I really am in that much pain.

vanessa the thing with pregnancy and labour is that unfortunately nature decides what happens and how so we have to just wait it out and cope with what gets thrown our way. its incredibly frustrating but try and look at it positively, you are 4cm dilated already, so obviously baby is going to make his appearance very soon. i went OVERDUE 10 days and honestly i would have loved to have been 4cm dilated at 37 weeks as i was utterly fed up by then! i came to the conclusion that babies come when they are ready and she did finally, she wasnt even engaged when i was having contractions and i ended up being sent home until my waters broke! try and be as positive as you can because there are many many women that go overdue and you progressing well for 37 weeks!
