When getting close to labor, what does it mean when the baby "drops", or has "fallen".

The baby "engages" or drops into your pelvis allowing more room to breathe but also putting more pressure on your bladder. This is to prepare the baby to move down and eventually through the birth canal. It is also called lightening.
