Okay, at my last OB appointment, my doctor said that it looked like I was about 2cm dilated. This worried her, since I was only 30 weeks at the time. So she sent me to an emergency ultrasound. The ultrasound said that my cervix was still closed, it was just the OUTER part of my cervix that was dilated. I've Googled this like crazy and can't find anything about it!

I know I'm not supposed to, but I did a cervix self-check, and it seems to me like I'm at least 1cm dilated. I found my cervix with no problem, and it's VERY soft, and the hole is definitely big enough for one finger. This worries me, because I'm only 31 weeks, 5 days.
