Dialating, But Slowly

I have about a week and a half until my due date. I dialated and went to 70% in less than 48 hours. Will I dialate quickly since I am 70%? My doctor says I have a good chance of delivering in the next week or so. I just wanted some other opinions from women who have been through this since its my first time.

Everyone's different. I was told by my two midwifes and an OB that I would "go in the next week" because I was dilated to 4cm two weeks before my due date. My son arrived nearly 12 days later and I was still in labour for 28 hours. I wish you a safe, fast and memorable experience. :-)
