Induced?

Can someone please tell me the pros and cons of being induced?

I am being induced tomorrow with pitocin. I plan on getting an epidural. The thing is an epidural can then slow down the labor that was artificially induced! So then they will give you some more pitocin. I did my research, the chance for haveing a C-section is 3x higher when induced.

When I was induced with pitocin, it actually made made my labor go fast. The contractions were unbarable about 45 mins after they started it. I was only 3cm dialated and crying for the epidural, and after they gave me the epidural they said it would slow my labor down. It didnt slow mine down at all, about 30 mins after my epidural got in they checked me and I was at 7 cm and my water broke.
