How far along are you? It sounds like it could be the start of labor. But, I know I felt really miserable for about the last 2 weeks. I had lots of strong Braxton Hicks and lots of pelvic pain/pressure for atleast a week before delivery. I don't remember indigestion before labor but I have heard diarrhea is a sign of labor. When I was actually in labor I felt a strong urge to pee alot so it could be. Wait until you are having regular contractions. False labor contractions can be painful but not as painful as a real contraction, they will subside if you change your position or rest for a while, and they are not in a regular pattern. Real labor will build in intensity and will become more regular with time, and nothing you do will make them ease or stop, the pain will increase as time goes on, where as with false labor the pain rarely intensifies. Good Luck! |

I'm at 39 weeks tomorrow. I've had nothing regular and repeated for any length of time. This will be my fifth child, but I've never gone spontaneously, so I feel a little silly not knowing what I'm experiencing! :) |

Not silly at all, I only have 3 but after having 2 already you would think the 3rd would have been easy to figure out. I was actually induced at 36 weeks with my last because of kidney stones. But, I tried to go into labor with my first but never made real progress on my own even though I was contracting. My second I was induced but I had lots of false labor before the induction and it is really different from the real thing. Sounds like things are trying to get started but just not really there yet. You are 39 weeks so it will be soon one way or the other. Good Luck on your delivery and I hope labor comes soon! |
