Membrane Sweep

Hi,

I am due on Wednesday and my mucus plugs have gone and had the runs, period pains ect. I have a midwife appointment on Thursday, do you know if she will offer me a membrane sweep then or do I need to book one in myself? Jjust want baby here safe and sound. Also does the membrane sweep hurt?

Advice welcome.

It just helps labor progress faster. At least it did for me. I went to the doctor on a Monday, and she told me I was in labor, did a membrane sweep and I was holding my daughter by 1:18 am Tuesday.

Ask your midwife what she thinks would be best for you.
