Over 5'8" Labour Goes Faster?

I've heard that when a mom is over 5'8" labour often goes quick. When I had my daughter it was fairly fast and I am 5'9". Is this something other over 5'8" mom's have experienced?

Sorry but this sounds like yet another old wives tale. A woman's size has NOTHING to do with how she is going to labour. I am just on 5ft & my last labour was barely 2.5hrs, yet my friend who is over 6ft laboured for close to 20hrs & it ended up being a c-section, & her baby was only 6lb.

I agree with E586467. I am 5'4 and I have had two really fast labors. My first was 5 hours and my second was 2 hours. My third was the longest. 13 hours.
