Shooting Pain In Left Side

I will be 38 weeks tomorrow and I have been having this shooting pain in my left side since I woke up this morning. It comes from my back, right under my rib cage and shoots down to my pelvis. It happens about every 10-15 minutes, but is only on one side. Does anyone know what this could be?

i can not help you but i have been having the same pain, i am now 37 weeks and was woundering myself if this was normall

This pain oly lasted for about four hours. I told the intern about it at my doctor's office and she said it may have been how I slept on it. I don't really trust her though because she measured my uterus at 38 weeks and it was 33 last week because I had dropped. I don't think it can grow that much in one week.

wow 4hours mine was about 3 minutes at a time off and on through the day but it hurt like hell.... my stomach even gets hard on the one side like a contraction it is weird
