Spinal Headache

I got a spinal headache from my epidural, and recieved a blood patch to cure it, a few days later, the headache returned. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and how long the headache lasted?

ughh..i feel your pain! i had a spinal headache after i had my son 4 years ago, but didn't have the blood patch because it wasn't offered to me and i didn't know it existed :( i opted to go without the epidural this last time (had my dd 41/2 months ago), partly(a big part) because of the headache. mine lasted about a week and a half and i was so incapaciated i could barely take care of my newborn. i took percocet every 4 hours but it didn't touch the pain... that was by far one of the worst experiences i've ever had... i'm a migraine sufferer and would rather have the worst migraine of my life before i would endure another spinal headache!!! hope you feel better soon, and i wonder why the blood patch didn't work?? can you get another?
