I have been terrified by stories of uterine rupture by the doctors here in Japan, but after many things I have read feel that VBAC is still probably safer than a c-section (that is, if I can avoid one being the ultimate outcome), so now as I'm waiting to go into labor proper, am scared of rupture every time I get Braxton hicks that are more frequent or painful than usual. At certain times of the day I can get 6 or more contractions an hour, then when I'm just about to go to the hospital, they subside for a few hrs, only to start again. I really don't know when it is reasonable, or safe to go to the hospital in the case of having a previous uterine scar. Have been twice already on a false alarm, and I'm not getting any sleep as they come mostly at night. Anyone familiar with this problem?
