I'm not sure but i always heard that u'll feel it and it will be clear and white but i havent experiences yet my self so im not 100 percent sure.

Well, with my first child, my water broke 3 weeks early.
I was lying down & all of a sudden I heard a sound like someone popping a cork off a wine bottle.(At the same time, I felt like a bubbling feeling inside of me)Then, I I felt a trickle of wetness coming out of me.Then, as soon as I stood up, it just gushed out like a waterfall. It was VERY obvious & no mistaken it.
However, I did not have the first contraction until about 45 minutes to an hour later.

Oh yeah...I almost forgot.
As far as what it looked like.....it was clear with a little bit of a blood tenge to it.
Also, it smells similer to semen.(Kind of a bleacy smell)
