I'm 38wks with my second child. On my first child I carried a bucket of coal inside from the coalshed, as I was afraid the fire would go out and I had no idea when my partner was due back home. went into a long labour the following morning, and by 9pm that night i was ready to go to hospital. The baby was born at 1 am. I'm with someone else now, and no we aint got solid fuel heating...

it kinda worked for me. my water broke, but i didnt deliver until the next day.

Today my doctor recommended having sex as she said the semen acts as a drug to induce labor. We did try last night but so far nothing. I'm 37/5.

i was 38/5 ihad sex the night before, got some contractions and then it stopped. The next morning i lost th eplug abd my water broke, my son was born 24 hrs later!!!! IT WORKED FOR ME

I had sex last week and lost my plug, and sex again last night and had some contractions. But in my last pregnancy I wasnt having sex at all and I had my daughter on her due date. So who knows.

My husband and I tried to have sex on night of my due date. But, it was too uncomfortable and we didn't manage it. All we managed was a few minutes of breast stimulation. A couple of hours later, which happened to be half an hour past my due date (midnight), I went into labor. So, I don't know if the nipple stimulation worked or that I just delivered in time. I was due for an induction 4 days later.

Hi Im 40 weeks and its my 4th pregnancy and Im 3 cm dilated my Partner and I had lots of sex and no baby yet My 3 boys came 4 days before due date so im thinking this is a girl

I had sex at week 39/4 and my water broke several hours later. I now have a beautiful baby boy so it can help.

I ate a curry, and had sex, and went into labour that night. The thing is, I was in labour for 5 days. So really its up to you.

At 36 weeks I was 0% e-faced. Had sex that week and went back for my 37 week check up. I was already 80% e-faced. Just had sex today and hoping it will kick-start something down there. Who knows.

My baby was born 4-21 I was exactly 38 weeks that day. The night before I tried having sex, and I woke up to my water braking. I don't know if it would have happened anyway but I think it worked definately worth a try.

i supposed to due on Aprl 29,but now is May 4,what can i do to speed up the labor

I am 39 weeks pregnant and 2 cm dilated, I already lost my mucus plug and tried sex the other night I didn't get any contractions muchless cramps so it didn't work for me however i am going to try it again to see but i am not going to hold my breath.

Sex has gotten me dialated alot. I had sex and in a day i was closed to 2 cm about a week or two later i had sex again and im now 3 Cm
